Epilation and depilation (Part 2)

Photoepilation
Photoepilation foresees the influence of short flashes of light hair bulbs. The principle of elimination of a follicle is the same, as at laser epilation, the only difference is that the influence is excreted on the greater area by the light ray with other physical features. Laser epilation is quite often carried to one of epilation kinds. The advantages of this method are: painlessness, an opportunity of carrying out of procedure in “bikini zones” and on the face.Â
Thermolysis
Thermolysis provides hair removal of due to a variable electric current. Passing through a hair follicle, the current causes fluctuations of molecules and leads to local allocation of heat and destruction of the cells, being a source of growth of hair. The Flash-method means the use of an alternating current of high frequency that allows making procedure of less painful at the same effect. The Blend-method combines thermolysis and electrolysis, that makes the procedure less painful, but more long. The advantages are the rapidity, proof effect; the only problem is that the procedure is quite painful and can’t be used for the “bikini zone” and the face.
Electrolysis
At electrolysis procedure a hair follicle is influence by constant electric current. The electrochemical reaction occurs in the end of a needle which, is brought to hair. The newly formed alkali and acid destroy the cells, responsible for the growth of hair. The main advantage of this method consists in smaller morbidity comparing to thermolysis that in turn, defines an opportunity of carrying out of procedure in sensitive zones. Unfortunately, such procedure requires a lot of time and a dose of patience.
Wax epilation (waxing)
Wax epilation includes hair plucking by means of wax that can be accompanied by removal of a hair follicle. The special structure, containing adhesive substances, is put on the skin (wax, honey, biologically active substances, sedatives, etc.). So, the removal of hair occurs together with removal of wax. Low price is the only advantage of a method. The insignificant decrease in growth of hair will be marked through some procedures.
Chemical depilation
The principle of chemical depilation consists in influence on hair of the chemical substances containing in a depilating cream. After destruction of albuminous layers of an external part of hair it easily gives in to painless removal. The obvious advantage of this procedure is in its painlessness, an opportunity of application on the face and in “bikini zones”. But it is necessary to remember about the allergic reactions and irritations of the skin, and also weak influence of a cream on rigid, dark hair.
