webmaster
During pregnancy the hormonal background of the woman varies. It influences not only mood, but also the skin. Changes can be not predicted, one month the skin can be dry, the second - fatty, spots become more often. It would be desirable to note, that problems with skin is characteristic phenomena for the first trimester of pregnancy. Nevertheless it is possible to cope with these problems
Fatty skin
During the first trimester many women face the problem of spots, as the level of the certain hormones in blood sharply increases, the quantity of made skin fat increases.
Unfortunately, traditional means for spots treatment can’t be used during the pregnancy, especially in the first trimester as these three months are basic for child’s formation. So, you should avoid:
-any means sold without the recipe, containing vitamin A and also creams with retinol and antibiotics.
- decorative cosmetics, the clearing and humidifying means containing salicylic acid.
After the first trimester you can use cosmetic means of local action. Do not forget that humidifying and clearing means and decorative cosmetics should not contain fat.
The optimum plan of struggle against fatty skin:
- Use soft not drying clearing means two times a day.
- Use scrub three times a week which clears the face not chemically, but mechanically.
- Make clearing mask once a week.
- Within day soak through the face with napkins in order to remove excessive fat from the face.
- From summer to autumn (Part 1)
- What happens to a breast before and after the pregnancy?
- Everything you wanted to know about Botox (Part 2)
- Professional cosmetics Annemarie Boerlind (Part 1)

Hello Ladies,
I would just like to remind all the ladies out there, that yes, we all want to avoid chemicals in our food, milk and our household while being pregnant. It is very important. I also want to remind everyone that there are alot of chemicals in skincare today, and pregnant women should only use chemical free or Organic face creams.
Your skin is an organ - that you are sharing with your unborn child. Any chemicals applied to your skin will feed the growth of your child. And please do your research on the internet regarding chemicals in skin care products.
My personal recommendation, is the Made from Earth product line. They are completely chemical free and organic, and their products have a shelf life of 6 months, because they are not presevred with chemicals, but they do use quality ingredients. I used their 3 Berry Face Serum while I was pregnant, and its a great face cream I highly recommend.
