Ormonde Man - Ormonde Jayne

Linda Pilkington has begun the perfumery career with creation of “the perfect aromatic candle” under the order of one of leading lux-brands. Then, in 2001, she has created brand Ormonde Jayne. Since then aromas Ormonde Jayne are creative leaders of the selective market of English perfumery: practically in each aroma rare or unique natural components are used.
At Linda laughed, when in structure of her first duet of aromas (Ormonde Man and Ormonde Woman) the note Canadian black hemlock has been declared. It was the first time, when this resinous wood was used in perfumery. Therefore Linda has decided to include it in structure - some nuances distinguished it from traditionally used components: pines, fur-trees, a juniper and a cypress, let alone a legion of synthetic molecules with wood aroma.
Other component Ormonde Man, aloe tree is also quite unusual. Though since ancient times it was used both by Arabs, and Japanese, and Chineses for making clothes and presents to deities - original wood-balsam aroma with medical accent is unusual for Europeans, and a rarity, gallop of quality and the high price of oil does not allow using it commercially. Here Linda managed to hide its medical mustiness, having left on a kind the bitter wood party and surprising stability.
Ormonde Jayne Ormonde Man (Linda Pilkington, 2003). Berries of a juniper, cardamom, a bergamot, pink pepper, a coriander; a tree of an aloe, Canadian black hemlock, a cedar, a sandal-wood tree, musk.
